Dorothy Jean Robinson
A woman of vision and dedication to her community. For over 75 years she gave theatrical performance and art to the city of Detroit. Through her many plays that she authors, and two poetry books her spirit will live on.

Dorothy Robinson is on the far right hand side, and her Outreach director Warren Gaither is standing on the far left hand side of the picture. Mr. Warren Gaither joined Dorothy Robinson's theater company, (Creative Express Theatre Company) around the time she opened the Dorothy Robinson Playhouse, which was located at 24 Winder in Detroit, Michigan.
